Hi friends! Tomorrow (Friday, 8/1) is Bandcamp Friday - in which fees are waived and musicians like myself get a bigger cut of your hard-earned dollars, pounds, euros, for every sale.

Three weeks since Everyday Thinking was released, and I’m still flying from the show at @mississippistudios. What a privilege to play my music with such dedicated musicians and for such a present crowd. Thank you.

I, and many artists I know, feel challenged with the idea of pursuing and enjoying a musical career in an atmosphere of constantly escalating horror and unnecessary societal regression. It’s tough to find ways to feel okay about doing this and nothing else.

We sold about a hundred tickets at the release show, and I’ve donated a dollar for each ticket to @wckitchen - an organization I feel is doing the most good, especially in environments of targeted starvation, atrocity and humanitarian crisis like Gaza has been experiencing every hour of every day. It’s a small contribution, but I aim to do better and make it a pattern. I hope that’s an effort that resonates with you, too.
